After dedicating 17 years to pastoring, Scott and Sue Behrman have transitioned back into full-time missions work, embracing a profound step of faith. Based in Buena Vista, CO, they have united with Scott’s parents, Bill and Ginger Behrman, to establish "Mission of Life, Behrman Ministries.” In 2019, Scott stepped into the role of president of MOL/BM, leading the mission to empower the church to share the gospel in uncharted territories.
Their ministry focus includes nations of the 10/40 window, where 80% of people reside who have never heard the gospel of Jesus. In these regions they have actively participated in planting churches, organizing medical camps, and conducting ministers' conferences. Since September 2015, Scott and Sue have partnered with the AIMS team, which has opened doors for ministry across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Central to their mission is Matthew 24:14: "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all the nations (ethnos, people groups), and then the end will come." Scott and Sue are committed to ensuring the church aims at unreached people groups worldwide, aligning with Christ’s command.
Today they are actively mobilizing believers in other countries as well as at home to be obedient to the words of Jesus, to “Go into all the world and preach and make disciples. (Mark 16:15-16; Matthew 28:18-20).
Currently, along with their missions focus, Scott and Sue are channeling their extensive experience into relaunching a church in Buena Vista, associated with New Creation Church in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The grand opening for New Creation Church Buena Vista is set for September 15, marking a new chapter in their ministry journey.
